Hello Friends

It's been a busy week here at the studio (my apartment).

Miskatonic High

As those of you who are following will know, I've been working hard on Miskatonic High to get it Alpha ready. We have some character sheet previews to show off over in ⁠🏫miskatonic-high-chatter These sheets have been most of my focus this week, as once they and some action cards are alpha-ready I'll be able to start testing.

I expect I'll start closed testing in the next couple of weeks, and ideally we will have some opportunities for public playtesting at our public events in July and August, and probably every chance we get for the rest of the year. (More on this below)

Friendly Game Nights

Our June event at Pixel Bar & Cafe was a lot of fun! We were fully booked so sorry for those who missed out! At this point our plan is to aim to have an in-person event every month. Some months these will be conventions, but when we don't have a convention on we will be looking to partner with a local game store/cafe/library/etc. to come down and play some games with the locals We are really committed to being a positive entity in the Melbourne tabletop gaming space so if you think your local venue would be interested in having a couple Mlebourne game devs come down to run some games please hit me up in ⁠💬general-chat or send me a message

Those Who Dare

Tom has been working away on a new campaign builder. The original purpose of this was to make it easy for us to publish the scenarios and campaigns we have written, and it's shaping up to do that very well. I do feel a little bad as I've been telling people we will have campaigns ready for release since March and have yet to deliver, so I would like to apologise for that. But please be assured that it's not something we have forgotten and that we have quite a few scenarios we have written for conventions and our own use that once the campaign builder is functional, we are excited to release. I don't want to overpromise again on an exact date, but hopefully there won't be much longer to wait on this one, thank you all so much for your patience.

I will have an announcement within the next week on where our next Friendly Game Night will be, so stay tuned over in the ⁠discord event channel.
