It's October Already!
The month and a half since our last update have been a bit crazy, but Tom and I are both back safely in Melbourne after an exciting time at Spiel. We have some important shipping updates, as well as the news from the conventions, and updates on what's next. So let's get into it.
Shipping & Fulfillment
EU/UK Backers
All EU and UK backers physical rewards have been posted. These were sent from Germany before flying back, so many of you will have already received your rewards. Pledge & tracking info will be updated in the coming days.
USA & Canadian Backers
All North American backers physical rewards have been posted. These were also sent from Germany before we departed. Some may have already arrived but keep an eye out for these soon if you haven't yet received yours. Tracking & Pledge information will be updated soon.
Australia/NZ Backers
We have confirmation that the shipment of books to Melbourne has reached Port Melbourne and we are hoping it will be delivered to us this week. Once we have it we will package up backer copies and have them in the post within a day or two. Stay tuned as these should all be coming very soon.
Spiel 2024 and PAX Australia
We were thrilled to be present at two huge conventions at the start of October.
Spiel 2024
Spiel was a mixed experience. Unfortunately the shipping company lost our stock of Those Who Dare, and only "Found" it halfway through the convention. We were glad to have stock for the weekend, but unfortunately the first two days were very stressful. We were still happy to run a lot of demo games and to make our very first non-crowdfunding sales. We received a lot of great feedback from players and have some more ideas for the future.
PAX Aus
One of our great volunteers, Will, was kind enough to run demo games for us at PAX Australia over the weekend. While Tom and I couldn't make it back in time after Europe, it was a great privilege for the Australian Roleplay Community (ARC) to give us table space in their section and a lot of fun games were run. We hope to do it again or possibly have a booth next year.
What's Next?
We will have a November update for you and hope to have all copies posted to backers by then. We have a lot of ideas for the next year. We have plans to release two new games in 2025 which we are excited to tell you more about soon. We also hope to get to many more conventions to meet players and introduce them to the Daring System of games.
